One more...

Another picture post!

I recently took my babies to go fig pickin' at a friends' in-law's house out in the country. The kids had a great time, although it was hot and sunny, and Bryce even managed to get a TICK in his hair (that I found, get this, THE NEXT DAY!) This, my friends, is AFTER I washed and scrubbed his hair! I think, truth be known, that he got it from the car the next day. On the way home from picking figs, from the back seat of the Versa, he said, "Momma, there was a little brown spider on me, and I just squished him."

I think that spider was, indeed, a tick. And, no, you can't just "squish" a tick.

I actually thought about that and kept asking questions about what it looked like, and he seemed pretty confident it was a spider. I was driving, so I couldn't turn to look.

I think he knocked it off into the car seat, and I think that when he rode in it the next day, it found it's way back on him... and into his hair. *SQUEALS* YUCK!!!!!!!!

Last weekend, Chris and I took the kids to Brooks Art Museum. The museum was promoting their new exhibit called "Who Shot Rock and Roll?" and is an exhibition based on photography of rock stars from the 1950s forward. It was a great exhibit!!!

In their lobby, they had crafts, tattoos, face painting, and were taking pictures. In their auditorium, they were doing music sessions, too.

After we left Brooks, we went with Chris' mom to a little thing that one of the local animal shelters was doing. The kids enjoyed seeing all the babies. I fell in love with a really overweight female kitty named "Mazie." I wanted to take her home SO bad, but I think my 23-pound Ziggy baby wouldn't care too much for that. I really wish I could've taken her. She was just so sweet and such a precious kitty.

Haha, Spongebob parasol.

I got so tickled over the patch of corn growing randomly in the middle of kudzu!

Listening!

Face painting!

Tattoos!!

Sweet Mazie. Oh, how I wanted to rescue her. I hope she gets a very deserving home.
