I'm gonna post a MASSIVE photo entry just to go over what we've been up to lately... I'm so ashamed that I've let being tired get in the way of my journaling properly. Sometimes trying to rest takes priority over anything else... I have NO IDEA how I'm going to handle being Momma, wife, employee, student, and, well, MYSELF all at one time soon.
I just pray the next 3 years come and go successfully with a huge reward at the end... however, I also pray that they slow down in terms of my babies growing up.
I need to write a separate entry on how I'm also struggling in the background about my *BABY* heading off to school already. Now BOTH of my babies are no longer, well, babies. *cries*
I always said I'd do what I could to be *HOME* with my children while they were little. I never thought I'd blink and it'd be done.
Anyway, before I get too sappy, I'll just post some pictures...
In short, over the recent weeks, we've gone to lots of library events -- the best one being the museum-sponsored art day based on Eric Carle's artwork. FUN FUN FUN!!!
We've also gone to the Children's Museum with friends, had a "Green Party" hosted by one of our moms' group moms, and also had a quick little playdate (also hosted by the same mom) based on a book about a car wash where we all got in her SUV and went through. :)
I plan to take the kiddos to pick peaches in the morning. I sure hope my experience is better tomorrow than it was with the blackberries!! I also hope it's not nearly as hot. I want the kids to ENJOY it this time.
