In continuation of the anticipation of Motherhood...

January 7, 2004 Journal Entry:

STILL HAVING ERRATIC CONTRACTIONS. STILL NO BABY.

Will this be my mantra for the next two weeks, or will the gods move the earth tonight and bring me a full moon baby??!!!!!

I've decided to just go about my own "normal" business... I'm at WORK... I'm going to hydrate myself well today and get some walking in and just keep timing these contractions and see what happens from there.

Anyway... I'm still hanging on, guys. I SURE SURE SURE hope to have some news soon. In the meantime, I'm going to do what I can to just live "normally" and enjoy these last few hours/days/weeks with my baby girl inside of me.

Oh yeah... If she comes tomorrow, she'll be born on Elvis' birthday. Neato, huh?

These contractions are DEFINITELY more powerful today, but seem to be very erratic, still. I'm also having lots of crampy sensations in between the contractions...

Minutes apart for the last few hours have been:
