Baby girl also made the Principal’s List!! Woo-Hoo! ‘Atta girl!!
As far as what’s going on with the boy, I can say that he’s officially obsessed with the soundtrack for “Mamma Mia!” thanks to my mother-in-law. I think I almost died when, while listening to their CD in the backyard, he lept from the swing only to finish off the last part of “Dancing Queen” with a Broadway-esque finish. Last night out of nowhere, the boy ran to Sophie’s room, put on LIP GLOSS, and then ran back into the living room… seconds later, “Take A Chance On Me” was blaring from the stereo. There’s also this slow song that the main character, Sophia, sings that he loves (“I Believe In Angels”). Thank goodness the boy has stated that he wants to MARRY Sophia, because between the lip gloss, the Broadway finish, and the constant ABBA tunes in my house, I was starting to worry. Maybe I still am a little, hahaha!!! Where’s that KISS music, again?
My mom and uncle recently invited us to tag along for FedEx's Hub Family Day... We all had a great time, and we got to see my grandmother, too. The weather was PERFECT, and the kids had a BLAST!

I also recently found the time to QUICKLY throw together cake pops (a la Bakerella) for the first time for Bryce's preschool class. They were studying O for the week, so I made orange octopus cake pops for them. I pushed chow mein noodles into the cake pops before dipping them for the legs. The end product was messy and ugly as all get-out, but the kids apparently loved them, and Bryce felt so special taking them to his class. This really made me feel good since I feel pulled in so many directions nowadays and don't have the time to do the things I used to do as often.
Cute stuff, love the poodle!
