Someone tell me I'm a cool mom...

...yes, I know we've spawned a KISS-lovin' child. Kinda tacky and little blue-collar/redneck, but whatever. The kid *LOVES* his music, and, well what kid doesn't love explosions, loud sounds, and "superheroes" bouncing around? Brownie points for superheroes with guitars and drums!

Anyway, I'm starting his cake today. Baking the layers to freeze. Had the idea to make Gene's boots, but he wanted "the guys" on there. However, my creative spirit wants those boots! I will incorporate them into the overall cake. I'll save that little bit for the reveal later on...
